3D Solar System Simulator

Solars is a free interactive 3D Solar System simulator. Positions of the Sun, eight planets, the dwarf planets Ceres and Pluto, and 19 moons are computed with Keplerian orbital mechanics for any date between 1900 and 2100. Pick a date and time and watch the celestial bodies move along their orbits: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, plus Ceres and Pluto.

The model uses real planet textures and shows orbits, axial tilts, atmospheric glows and Saturn's rings. A cinematic tour takes you across the whole system, and zooming in on any body reveals its moons — from the Moon and Jupiter's Galilean moons to Triton and Charon. The interface is available in 9 languages. The service is free, with no ads and no tracking: the site does not use tracking cookies and does not collect personal data automatically.
